Although in a different league entirely than the IC clubs, we demand quality in each aspect of the site, including the Real Realm Clubs. Creativity, upkeep and activity are what we look for.

Before approaching management

• Is this Club needed?
• Consider whether or not you have the motivation, dedication and online time to commit yourself to running a Club.
  

Will the Club be exciting? Will it generate interest and draw members to it weekly or even daily? Will it be a worthwhile addition to Mystical Realms? Answer the questions honestly.

Running a Real Realms Club will require work on at least a weekly basis, you must be able to commit the time necessary for reviewing applicants, posting and responding to your members. Even within a group of mutual thinkers, arguments can erupt, be prepared to deal with the members in a levelheaded manner. We don’t say this to scare anyone off but we want you to be prepared and have a plan in place to deal with problematic members that is fair for all involved.

Contact Administration

If you believe that your Real Realms Club will be a positive addition to Mystical Realms and know you have the drive to make it succeed, then it is time to send an email to Administration. Include your character name, the Real Realms Club name and what it stands for.

If you are granted a Real Realms Club, the next step is to create it in the club section. Being comfortable with html is helpful.

You will be granted space to create your club in.

The very first responsibility will be to create your club home page completely before admitting any members other than the club co-owner, if you decide to appoint one. It is your job to inform the co-owner of his/her responsibilities, whatever you decide they will be.

Each Real Realms Club must have a mission statement listed clearly on the club main page so that anyone can read it and understand what your group is about. You must accept all members if they meet your requirements. If a member goes against club rules or falls short of the established requirements, it is your right to cancel their membership.

You may put an age minimum as a requirement, but doing so will mean registering new members will take longer and involve the staff of Mystical Realms.

All Real Realm Clubs are required to remain public, although that does not mean you have to allow the public access to your internal workings, such as the forums.

Once you’ve completed the Real Realm Club home page, it needs approval by Pashen before you may add members. Contact her either in chat or by email when you are ready.

All clubs are checked weekly for activity, if you neglect your Real Realms Club, it will be removed from Mystical Realms. If you need time away because of online downtime or RL issues, contact Administration.
