The following application might seem extensive, but we want it to be viewed as a spark! Mystical Realms is not like typical games. To succeed you must write, you must create, and you must be ACTIVE in the chat. You must fashion a character and a setting and you must provide the action. If you are not willing to give a part of yourself to the game, then you are encouraged to find another website. The following questions are set up to protect us and our members as well as weed out those that might have a difficult time getting involved in our level of “story-gaming.”

At Mystical Realms we want only the best role players. We take great pride in our games; games that require imagination, effort, creativity and, above all, maturity. Part of maturity is realizing that they are only games and that the situations depicted within them are strictly imaginary. The information, scenarios and persons depicted within this site are purely FICTIONAL. Do remember that you are simply participating in a very immersive game. Mystical Realms is recreation, do not allow it to infringe upon your everyday actions.

Rest assured, Mystical Realms is not trying to make a database of names to sell to anyone. We will NEVER disclose any personal information. As role players ourselves, we understand the desire to remain anonymous. But as site administrators, we feel that having this information on record makes our site safer for all involved.

Mystical Realms has been created to provide a safe haven for creative people from across the world to gather and share stories. Members are expected to comport themselves in a civilized manner and to treat their fellow members with respect. We reserve the right to revoke membership if we feel that a member is not behaving themselves in a proper fashion. For more information on this, read the Code of Conduct and the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you register.

All “in character” fields must be filled out and the “real life” questions answered. Those that do not provide the required information will be rejected instantly. Any character not meeting our standards will be rejected. Please take the time to really consider your answers. Take the effort to get to know your character inside as well as his/her outside. You will expand your role playing experience tremendously.

You will notice you only have a limited selection of races. We hope this encourages originality and creativity and gives a new member a better first impression of the site. Once you’ve decided to continue to role play at Mystical Realms and add additional handles, the racial selection opens.

Because each application is read by a real person, registrations are completed twice a week. After a set has been completed, those that are accepted will receive an email with their password and a welcome message will be posted on the home page listing the new members. If your character name is listed on this post but you didn’t receive an email, contact admin@myrealms.net. Because of the number of applications we receive, Mystical Realms no longer sends out rejections. If you don't see your character name on the front page, you may reapply.

Name changes and additions are done twice a week as well. Thank you for your patience.
