Special Abilites: Flight, AirMancing Magic Resistence: Wind and Mind resistance Climate/Terrain: Airkin are not a common site, though people who meet an Airkin usually continue to do so throughout their lives.

Alignment: Usually Chaotic Good, never any form of Evil. Description: Airkin are usually tall, and never go under 5.6 feet. They are very old, but never age past the age of 20. They grow no facial hair other than their eyebrows, and their hair is always a pure white, as their eyes are always a shade of grey. They are slender, yet strong creatures that are very intelligent, but are very playful, and even act like a fool just to get a good laugh. Their voices are light and peaceful, even if they scream, wich they rarely do. The only difference in appearance a Airkin has from a human, other than their strange hair and eye color, is their pointed ears and fanged teeth. Airkin are very, VERY childish personality wise, loving to play around. It is believed that the Airkin are actually reincarnations of childrens souls. Mating Habits: Airkin usually do not mate for the first time untill they have lived at least 500 years. This is mainly because of their carefree, childish life style. Airkin are compatible with other Airkin, humans, elves, and some other humanoid species. If someone should ever win the heart of a Airkin, it is a life long love. If a Airkin should wish to become someones lover, they love that person with an extreme passion. If they should marry, then you know they are pretty lovesick, willing to sacrifice their carefree life to be bonded with someone they love. Combat:
Airkin love friendly spars, but hardly ever actually try to hurt someone. They usually deploy childish tricks when fighting, like tripping their enemy. Sometimes they even laugh while fighting, dodging every attack of a frustrated opponent. Airkin can strategize very well, and are believed to be intelligent enough to succeed in a plan to take over a whole country in a few days. Luckily, Airkin have no interest in such things, prefering to live on mountain tops or in clouds above towns and meadows. Airkin use hand-to-hand combat, archery, and some types of melee weapons, like spears and knives. If someone manages to survive an Airkin's fist, wich isnt very common, they also have another way to fight, AirMancing. They can manipulate the air into anything, from a simple breeze to a sword made of pure wind, and some Airkin can even create air vacuums and steal air from peoples lungs. Habitat/Society:
Airkin usually live alone or in small groups, and have no real form of government, as such a thing would get in the way of their fun. They can live almost anywhere, even able to sleep 50 feet in the air. They are content with the simplest forms of living, sometimes not even taking blankets or mats to sleep on. The Airkin are kind, the closest thing they have to bullies are pranksters who play harmless practical jokes on other people. The Airkin worship the Wind as their God. Ecology:
Airkin can live forever, unless killed. They usually only eat fruits, vegetables, and grains, but will eat meat once properly prepared, cleansed of any and all blood. They take care of any place they live, though usually live in empty caves to avoid such tedious tasks. |
