Frequency: Common Organization: Tribal Activity Cycle: Day dwellers, night hunters Intelligence: Average Language: Speak in a simple language knowing common words as their counterparts in CleftEdge, occassionally traveling there with pelts and meats in exchange for items in the bazaar Alignment: Usually neutral evil Description: They are usually 5 to 6 feet in height, have horns from from their head and are very hearty creatures. Their muscles are shorter, but stronger and they have larger feet for traveling for hunt across the canyon grounds. Combat:
They use their strong bodies and spears to hunt, each crafted differently for each troll They spears are mostly made from bones of dead creatures and sharpened stones crafted by the trolls themselves against archaeic stone spinning wheels. They have the intelligence to hunt in groups, surrounding their potential meal and attacking viciously. They are a ravenous creature and groups of trolls are contantly hunting for the tribes. They have a nasty temperament and have no problem attacking anything, anywhere. Habitat/Society:
Badtooth Trolls inhabit the lands of Badtooth Splinter living in tribes along the canyon near the mouth of the river. They make simple tents from the hides of the animals they kill and also inhabit the shallow caves in surrounding territory. They are spread out amongst the Splinter and each tribes has relations with each other. They are lead by one chieftan, who deals with the outside races in Cleftedge. Ecology:
Trolls are 100% pure hunters and know the splinter better then anything in the canyon. They have no fears and have often times moved across the canyon, scaled the walls and raided CleftEdge taking the villagers by surprise. They kill the larger animals in the canyon and use the hides for comfort and war decorations. Often times, their lips and hands are stained with fresh blood as they are ravenous creatures and must constantly eat to stay alive. |
