Description:
The Black Widow of Poulfill Marsh stands about 8 foot tall from legs to head. Her body is pure black, and she has 8 long serrated legs. Her torso is somewhat human with the head of a human, except for the silvery eyes and long pinchers as hands. She has hairs along the body and a stinger along the backside.

Combat:
She uses her mind to lure victims in to her web, closer, and most come to her web like cave in order to find some sort of bauble, trinket, secret or magical item that might be in her collection of items. She will attack with pinchers and stinger to gain a meal for herself and the eggsacs that depend on flesh and blood to sustain them. She will attack man or animal, whatever is lured in to the web. The poison in her stinger is an acid base that immediately starts to paralyze and rot the flesh, melting the organs into a gooey formula that can be easily devoured by mother and babies.

Habitat/Society:
The Black Widow lives alone, and not much is known about her, but she does reproduce eggs that produce hundreds of spiders seasonally. They are normal spiders that go on about their way, spreading out across the lands and nestling into dark, damp places. No one knows how exactly she produces these eggs, but that is perhaps her own little secret.

She lives in Poulfill Marsh, which is nestled in Perse Fens, and as soon as you enter the Marsh, you know exactly where you are. Blackened earth and deep purple mud and leaves guide the way towards the web, which starts off as thin strands, eventually leading in to a cave like web with many bodies strung up for feeding. There are pustules hanging atop the ceiling of the webs which are filled with an acid like compound which holds the various items which the widow collects. For every item wanted, she demands one be left behind, whether it be a sword, an orb or even a magical ability. If one refuses, then the adventurer becomes trapped and eaten for the Widow. Even if one gives up something for a needed item, it is possible the Widow will try and eat anyways...
