Approximately six inches tall appearing as a young woman. Their body glows constantly, though varrying in intensity. They are winged though the wings may not even move when they fly. Their wispy hair seems to flow about as if underwater. They have no ears, or any other oriface.

Combat:
Blumafeen are completely on their own when it comes to learning to defend themselves. Their magical abilities are chaotic at first, the young fairies taking decades to learn to control and properly use their abilities. The lack of parents or siblings and the possibility for variations in abilities, makes instruction near impossible.

The fairies are much too weak to be able to properly fight physically, unless it were with their own kind. With the lack of interest in weapons and the lack of teeth or nails, any physical combat remains in the areas of grabbing, pulling, hitting and kicking.

The Blumafeen's combat style tends to be unique, or imitative of those it sees. Their combat usually centers around their magic. The type of magic and the Blumafeen's personality determining how they fight.

Habitat/Society:
Blumafeen tend to live almost anywhere as long as their is a magic from which to draw energy from. They have no real social order. It is rare for them to find someone they can even communicate well with, making it difficult for them to join normal society. When they meet up with eachother it is often a time of confusion, and surprise. Most Blumafeen will go through life alone.

Blumafeen communicate through magical one way speech, using their wings to provide tone and emotion. The speech translates itself into basic meanings and words in the language of those that can see the pulses of light by which the magical speech is sent. The blumafeen's wings will droop, stiffen, curve, curl, sharpen, and reform to provide communicate the tone of the message. This is the primary focus of their body language. They are normally unable to understand languages, relying primarily on body language and actions to understand what is trying to be communicated to them. This barrier is nonexistant when speaking amongst themselves, one fairy translating to the other.

Ecology:
The Blumafeen reproduce asexually. When they die their body hardens, growing roots into the ground. Whatever is left of their magical energy is used to begin the life of a Blumdorn. The plant grows as it absorbs magical energy to sustain itself. Once the plant is fully grown, usually about three to five feet tall, it begins to bud. The buds are fed magical energy drawn in from the surrounding area and sorted by the plant. Magical energies of similar nature are allowed to flow together, while those that are different are kept seperate. This has the potential to lead to very diverse offspring. Once a bud has enough magical energy it blooms, releasing a fully grown Blumafeen. It is rare for more then one birth to occur with any closeness. This leaves the fairy, alone, knowing only that it awoke for the first time in the confines of the flower.

Blumafeen do not need to eat or breath, aborbing magical energy from the area around them. This means there is little effect on the areas they inhabit except for whatever magic they unleash upon the world. The fairies are not limited in types of magics they may be born with. Their abilities will be close in nature and dependant upon the energy fed to them as a bud. Decay, life, fire, water, all are equally possible if only the magical energies required exist.

Fairy-kin magic is especially essential to the Blumafeen's infancy. It is this magic that gives them purpose and personality. These energies are also sorted to a lesser degree. Though rare, Blumafeen have been born with dual personalities.
