Description:
Hetmorpheen's natural form is snake, and usually grow to about twelve feet long in their adult stages. They are silver, to blend with the waters of the river that runs through the deeper forest of Orod Valley. They stick to the warmer waters and can hunt either under water or above ground, depending on the prey they are hunting. In their natural form, they look like a normal feral snake, but because of their abilities to morph, they can take the form of any creature.

Combat:
Hetmorpheen use the regular skills of a snake, although because of size, they constrict their prey before devouring. If the prey is large, they have razor sharp rows of teeth that can pull flesh from bone in order to be devoured chunk by chunk. Because of their intelligence, they can use psionic will to lure the prey to them to constrict. In a morphed form, they can take a humanoid shape, using arms and legs to wrap around their victim and constrict even further. A strong psionic lure/blast can last up to 3 rounds, depending on the victims ability to resist mind control. Their mind powers are stronger then physical power.

Habitat/Society:
Hetmorpheen live alone along the banks of the upper river in Orod Valley. They mate twice a year, once in the spring, and once at the end of summer. They are active year round in the valley, mostly hunting fish and smaller mammals that come along the riverbanks. They stick to the warm river and springs and usually burrow in to the soft, muddy earth. They lay up to three eggs, but can lose their young to other Hetmorpheen and predators in the river. Many times the young are taken by bears and wolves, which contributes to their rarity. Those that do survive can live up to twenty years.
