Description:
Iubardedignor, also known as sun scorned or simply scorned, begin there existance as handsome and beautifal examples of mankind. Their skin tone often reflects a similar tone to the one they were born with, though with a rosey tint. The whites of the eyes are also tinted red, becoming more of a pink. The iris is sometimes seen as a color not quite red, like a violet or an orange. Their pinkish teeth are sharp, though not quite as strong as bone.

As they spend time in the sun, however, they're flesh slowly burns and scars. Some have claimed that you can tell how old Iubardedignor is by how inhuman it looks. Black gaping holes and pits in their flesh destroy the image of beauty they once held. Their teeth become crooked, and it's not uncommon for them to lose parts of their hair. Some of the scorned attempt to keep up their pristine appearance, and this is possible. However, this tends to greatly weaken them. This is why only the truly vain, foolish, and young are the only ones that really do this.

Their bodies imitate humans, their flesh like blood bodies appearing remarkably similar. They have a heart, lungs, and brain. None of these actually serve a function. Their bones are like their teeth, like crystalized blood. This makes their bone structure fairly fragile, but it doesn't take more then a few moments to reform them. The eyes are the most developed part of their body, both providing sight and smell. It is their skin, however, that provides them with their blood sense. Apart from the head which contains the soul of the scorned one, they are the most important parts of the body.

The Iubardedignor often wear heavy cloaks to protect themselves from the sun. Other then this the garb of the sun scorned is primarily up to personal preference. The scorned ones were not always what they were and they often keep their sense of taste, atleast for a short time. Armor is not often found on them, having no true vitals to protect.

Combat:
The Iubardedignor will tend to use weapons that they had favoured. When natural weapons are unavalable they can craft one of blood, given a source. This form of combat is often forsaken by the more experienced.

In a bloody enough enviroment the Iubardedignor can use their magic to craft cages or other entanglements to slow their victim. Spikes through the legs and wrists, digging into the ground, are often used to hold the victim. This allows them to get close enough to bite them and begin feeding.

Blood crafted familiars are commonly used, especially amongst the more powerful. Blood hornets are the most common, while blood golems are on the rarer end of the spectrum. The ones used is dependant on personal preference and ability. Blood hornets are the first taught to new borns.

A scorned one will work in conjuction with it's familiars, alone, or merely watch. Combat technique depends heavily upon the upbringing and personality of the Iubardedignor, both before and after their rebirth. It is common for the young to take on the techniques of their mentor.

Habitat/Society:
The Iubardedignor usually take up living spaces near medium to large habitations. They are usually loners, living and hunting by themselves. During the day they are rarely seen, the heat and light of the sun slowly burning at their bodies. They are usually outside during the night, but have been seen on dark cloudy days, Dawn, or Dusk.

The results of two Iubardedignor coming together varies depending on the personal motivations involved. Short conversations or arguments tend to break out. One will most certainly express their sovereignty over the territory. In the case of a fight, destruction of the other is rarely the goal. Often times the elder of the two is immediately seen as the superior, and so few confrontations end in a fight.

A young Iubardedignor is often guided by a much more experienced one, usually the same one that created them. This guidance doesn't last long, only a few years. At the end of this time one of the two scorned ones will leave the territory.

Ecology:
The Iubardedignor are not born, rather they are transformed into what they are. This change usually takes place in ritualistic fashion. A strong Iubardegnor will chain the initiate inside an alter like basin. Blood flows into the basin, filling it. As the initiate begins to drown the sun scorned begins replacing the initiate's body with one of blood. The body will closely resemble the old one, except more refined and fair.

This process of course requires a great deal of blood. Human is often favoured, however, some have taken to using others. Elf, wolf, and deer are the most favoured of these. The large amount of blood needed for this and other tasks that the scorned ones take can leave the surrounding area's population diminished slightly. Because they do not tend to stay together in large groups, An entire population will rarely if ever be destroyed.

The scorned ones feed upon the blood of their victims. They bite veins and arteries while it's still alive, licking and sucking on the wound. Once the body is deceased it is not uncommon for the Iubardedignor to craft a nest of blood hornets, a favoured trick of the sun scorned. This also serves a purpose, indicating to other Iubardedignor that this territory is already occupied. This helps to decrease depletion of blood in the area. However, this creates fairly large populations of blood hornets in regions containing scorned ones.

It is impossible for a Iubardedignor to concieve or impregnate. The only thing close to this would be the creation of a familiar inside the body of the host. A sun scorned cannot create a soul, only a souless servant.

As long as the sun scorned has blood to feed upon it will not die until it's head has been destroyed.
