Description:
Indistinguishable from the common human. Were it not for their style of dress it would be very difficult to identify one. The Kleidet wear very little clothing. Robes, and loin cloths are decorated with vibrant red and purples. Bones, quills, teeth, and other parts of their prey are used as decoration, weapons, and armor. Quill adorned bone masks are worn from the moment they're able to lift their own heads. The masks only come off in sleep or death. Blood is occasionally used to decorate the quills.

Combat:
Using the bones of their fallen enemies, prey, and victims Kleidet create a variety of weapons. Knives, daggers, swords are all common tools of violence. With a combination of wood and tendons other weapons are constructed. Spears, axes, sickles, and scythes are among the more complicated weapons. A Kleidet Kanoch must construct their own tools and weapons, even at an early age.

A Kleidet will usually have used the same weapons for years. This allows them to be fairly proficient with their combat skills. However, they are fairly direct with their methods. Ambushes, and sneak attacks tend to be the most thoughtful techniques available to them. Their techniques focus on the basics; stab, slash, smash, lunge, etc.

Their speed, stamina, and silence, helps make up for their other short comings. Even those carrying a lot of weight, train for speed and dexterity. The distance between a Kleidet Kanoch and his opponent, should not be overestimated. Even when they don't rush their opponents, they're not above throwing their weapons. Often, a secondary, or even a third, weapon is brought for an expected fight or hunt.

Habitat/Society:
The Kleidet choose to live in inhospitable regions in order to keep their homes secret and safe from outside forces. Dangerous jungles, wind swept desert cliffs, and volcanic mountains are all excellent locations. Food must be available, however. This requires that there be plenty of nearby life, either animal or sentient.

The Kleidet Kanoch are divided into many small tribes. It is rare to find two tribes living within a weeks walk from one another. On the few instances that the tribes will meet, it is most common that they either merge or go to war.

Bloodshed is common in their society. The death of their own is the only death that is mourned. Funerals consists of grand banquets consisting only of meat. The meat of the mourned is divided into small portions for the rest of the tribe. Alongside this is prepared any meats from hunts or from those who killed the departed.

The tribal leader is chosen through one on one combat. The fights are prearranged, so that the entire tribe can be there to witness the renewal or change in command. These matches often go to the death, but this is not always the case. When the leader is killed in such a match, it is common for the challenger to eat the heart of the former tribe leader.

There is only one distinction between the sexes in regards to the social order. The women deliver the children, while the men prepare for the banquet that will be held the next day. Once born, children are raised by the entire tribe. The father and mother are given first rights to the child, but after it is old enough to speak, such rights are forgotten.

Kleidet come of age at approximately fifteen, when they first kill another humanoid sentient and eat it’s heart. Once there are several children of near appropriate age, a trip is taken to the nearest known location of humanoids, other then the tribe itself. The children must hunt on their own and either return to the camp with the body, or die. The interaction between the Kleidet children and their prey is sometimes a confusing experience. Such interactions have led to the children leaving the tribe, or bringing home their prey alive. Live prey isn’t frowned upon, but the child will be sent out again to bring back a proper meal as well.

Those brought home by a child do not often survive. Few are able to merge with Kleidet society. Some become little more then toys. Most commonly they’re eaten once the former child bores of them.

Ecology:
It is commonly believed that the Kleidet would have a lifespan similar to that of a common human. However, do to their violent lifestyle this has not been confirmed. Fifty is seen incredibly old in their society.

If they survive the violence, disease is a big danger. Uncooked meat, blood uncleaned, shared half eaten food, and little to no form of sexual regulations to speak of, leave an introduction of a disease as catastrophic.

Kleidet Kanoch often have a detrimental affect on trade, hunting merchants whom pass through their territories. Sentient flesh is just as desirable, if not more so, then flesh of a beast. This can make trade through Kleidet occupied regions expensive.

The natural world around the Kleidet remain affected little. The tribes change little of their environment, not building structures to live in. Wildlife slowly diminishes due to their diet consisting primarily of meats.
