Description:
Mhawon are small dragon like creatures that live in the forests and tropics. Very rarely do they ever leave their protective forest surroundings. Their bodies come in all the colors of the leaves, and no bigger than a long tailed pigeon, they can be hard to spot, especially during autumn. Their wing span is usually about three times their body-length and more often than not, they are used for gliding not flying.

Combat:
With excellent agility, a Mhawin will not hesitate to take on larger creatures. The key being the fact they are mind feeders, eating the thoughts of their victums until they can no longer think for themselves. Dumbed and stupified, there is little their prey can do when a Mhawin finally moves in. Often times the creature will curl up on the shoulder, wrapping a tail tightly around the vocal chords. Once in control of the mind, the body follows, and this poor creature becomes a host for the Mhawin.

Because of this fact, Mhawon don't usually fight side by side. In fact to see a community of Mhawon attack is a very rare thing, because once the creature is captured, the question of ownership comes into play.

Habitat/Society:
Living in the warmer climates of the forests and tropics affords them a more casual life style. Aside from hunting, Mhawon are very socialable creatures, living in small families called Nests. Though not many other spieces choose to associate themselves with the Mhawon, considering their choice in diet. Just about anything with a mind is prey to these creatures.

Ecology:
Mhawon mate every four years, journeying to the center of a great forest to find their four year companion. In that period, a mhawin can have as many or as few litters as she chooses, but four and only four eggs can ever be laid at a time. Two will hatch to be male; two will be female. Theirs is a very organized spieces. And while it may seem like perfection, a Mhawin will only live for 16 years before dying, exactly to the day, of old age.
