Description:
Valley worms are about 30 feet in length and vary 8-10 feet in height. They are all different colors, depending on the climate they live in, most being light or brown in color. They have two rows of razor sharp teeth, and have sensors on their end of their noses that can determine their sense of direction and help them hunt. They have a tail that comes to a point at the end and acts as a whip that usually stuns their victim. They are a boneless creature made completely of tendons and muscles.

Combat:
Valley worms use their massive jaws and whip like tails to contain their victims in a physical manner. They burrow around 20 feet underground, but in lean times, will burrow closer to the surface as an unknown meal would fall in to the trench. The close in on thier victims by cornering them in the trench and tearing them apart with razor sharp teeth.

Habitat/Society:
The Valley Worms exist alone, and it is unknown how the massive beasts procreate. It is believed though they mate deep beneath the earth, perhaps hundred of feet down, but no evidence has been discovered to back that up. They are solitary creatures that are carniverous and omniverous, burrowing deep into the hardened earth of the mountains and valley, pulling the nutrients it needs from the earth, expelling them behind its wake, much like how an earthworm works.

Ecology:
It is unknown how long the worms live, however, they have been observed feeding off the carcasses of dead worms. There are enough to make any wary traveler careful of where they step during the lean winter months, but they are not an aggressive creature. They tend to live in dark, damp places in the earth, burrowing deep into the earth to sustain themselves.
