Feather boas will attack anything that might potentially be prey, but prefer to avoid anything that might consider them prey. If cornered, they wrap around the aggressor, biting repeatedly while continuously tightening the constriction.

Habitat/Society:
Usually very solitary, the snakes are not normally aggressive toward each other. They tend to spread out, to improve hunting, and are not at all social. In the height of summer, females seek out males to mate with, laying their eggs in abandoned bird nests and leaving them. Young snakes are left to fend for themselves, and may be eaten by an adult if they aren't careful.

Ecology:
Feather boas prey on a number of winged and flightless creatures, from flying cats to batbuck, and anything else small enough for them to eat. The young snakes are, in turn, preyed upon by the flying cats and anything else that can, including larger feather boas. The adults are hunted by larger predators, particularly griffons.
