Flora and Fauna: Oak, red cedar, basswood, pine, walnut and cherry. Black-tailed and mule deer, red and kit fox, ground and flying squirrel, marten and mink are abundant. The forest is usually filled with the assorted songs of innumerable small birds, the drumming of crested grouse and loggerhead woodpeckers.
Known Dangers: Wolves, bear, forest lion. Water wights are seen on rare occasions near the river.
History: A young shire, Fox Run got it’s name from the abundance of fox in the area. In fact, they have been known to move right into the homes of the halflings and gnomes to live like house cats.
