Large, colorful seed, fruit and nut-eating birds fill the trees with shrieks and chatter during the daylight hours, replaced by the low, eery cries of nighthawks and owls that vie with the high chirp and squeak of bats after dark. Primates move in groups through the canopy, avoiding and being hunted by large serpents and felines. At least two mist dragons make their homes in Sareth, but it is rare to encounter one - and even less likely that anyone to do so would realize the dragon was ever within fifty miles of them.
Known Dangers: Poisonous plants, aggressive primates, large snakes and felines. Both elves and centaur are well-known for shooting first and questioning the survivors if they encounter anyone causing deliberate harm to the jungle or its inhabitants.

History: The first inhabitants of what is now called Sareth were the centaurs, but in small, unaffiliated peaceful tribe-bands. A jungle breed, then tend to be slightly taller, much more slender and thin-skinned than those of colder climates, with sleek glossy hides frequently colored in the camouflaging patterns of the jungle, making them near invisible in their preferred habitats. The elves came later, taking the lush tropical forest as their home and making it into a kingdom, founding cities and developing trade routes. They don’t compete with the centaurs, in fact, there is little contact between the two races - by the choice of both. Known as the kingdom of the bow, this name is quite accurate as both elves and centaurs pride themselves in the excellence of their archery skills. The finest archers on Rosha are found in the jungles of Sareth, both on two feet and four.
