Weapons & Armor: Cu Draigen wears leather armor made from heavy boiled bullhide, blessed by his god for resistance to magical attack. He carries two light thrusting spears, much like javelins, blessed for strength and speed. Although not intended as a weapon, he frequently also carries a long, spiral ivory staff, made from the tusk of a narwhal. A blow from this would be the same as the blow from a Holy Rod.
Special Attacks: All of Cu Draigen's magic is gained from pure devotion to his god, Eachthighern, and is of a clerical nature.
Special Defenses: As high priest of the Cu Luar, he is protected from the attacks of other deities by his own, and highly resistant to malign clerical spells.
Special Abilities: Devotion and riding skill. Practically born on the back of a trained Neamh Bull, Cu Draigen is a skilled master of the creatures. To unseat him, you pretty much have to kill the bull he is riding.

HISTORY
Born of Daig Bran, he has been involved in training and breeding the Neamh Bulls since birth - carried in a pack on his mother's back as she rode and worked with the creatures. He began his training with the spears as soon as he was large enough to hold a miniature version without dropping it. Entering the priesthood (Cu Luar) as a novitiate when he was five, he rose steadily through the ranks as he grew older. Chosen to succeed the aging chieftain of Daig Bran in his late teens, he took that position when he was twenty three, and was recognized as High Chieftain of the clans within a year. When he was thirty, he claimed the position of High Priest of Cu Luar as well, and has filled both position quite well since then.
