Madh-Akul
A landmass central to the other Akul, largest and among the three straddling the northernmost point of Rosha, ‘Big Glacier’ is surprisingly unpopulated. Very few intelligent species make their homes here, although a few small clans of Yeti and Frost Giant wander the frozen terrain, avoiding each other and rarely clashing. The reason for this lack of civilization, and for the strangely pacifistic attitudes of the Giants, is fairly clear when one learns the truth of Madh-Akul. For it is here that a family of Frost Linnorm-Dragons have made their lair, and they hunt both the Giants and Yeti whenever either race is brought to their attention, slaughtering them viciously whenever possible. They will tolerate no intrusion into their icy lair, and consider all of Madh-Akul to be theirs. They even diligently hunt the seals and walrus that whelp along the shores, and occasionally go so far as to antagonize the orca whales that venture too near.
