History: Once long ago over 100 years the land was ruled by humans. There was an uneasy peace between the humans, elves, stone giants, and dragons. The king who was human at the time had decided that he wanted the elves rid of and attemted to wipe them out. This put the peace between the dragons and giants break as well as the giants had ruled over the entire mountain range. The dragons began an assault on them and soon the entire realm was at civil war. The elves were far smarter then the humans and as the war progressed the king was killed by his own son so the son could take the glory that he thought would come from the conquest. After many years there rose a King of the elves who united them all under his name and he began to really fight back. This King was named Dothfen Ruvyn. He led the counter attack on the humans and after only monthes he had literally wiped all of the humans from existance in the realm. He murderd them all. It was seen as a necisarry evil and humans were not truely spoken of again. As this went on the dragons had continued fighting the Stone giants who had also united under one king. His name had been Both. King Dothfen ventured North into the mountains to stop the senselessness of the war. He met with Lord Tezcacoatl of the orange dragons and King Both. They came to an agreement of peace. Recently King Both was found dead and a new King was named over the normally peaceful giants named Rex. So far peace has been prousperous and for over 100 years the realm has seen no war. There have been skirmishes with the goblins here and there but nothing serious. Recent Events: An invasion has set itself onto the realm. Alliances have been broken. Dragon Highmaster Korlask attacked and took control of the capital and a few of the towns. He had attacked without warning trying to conquer quickly and without many losses only because he knew he did not have a large enough infantry force to come in after they had prepared. The prelimanary worked well with the city being taken quickly. The towns were falling fast. The king Dothfen had seemed to run away when in reality he had went to get aid. For now there is a new ruler. A new temple is being built in the name of Takhisis. Its beauty will rival that of the grand temple in the capital of the empire. Korlask also gained new dragons for his flight although they are orange instead of red. They were a great prize because they spit out molten rock instead of flame. |
