Celestia

Camelopardalis is another main city in Celestia. Often times, during festivals and such going ons, various people make a pilgramiage to this city in order to celebrate at the enormous Temple of the Twelve Celestials. This, like Cepheus, is a center of enourmous magic that could be felt thrumming through the land. More elves and humans dwell here though winged humans, gnomes, sprites, and other creatures are not uncommon sights.

The Temple of the Celestials resides in the center of Camelopardalis. It is an enormous structure with ornate columns and statues depicting the Celestials through symbols and their believed forms. Around the Temple is a wall with a single gate allowing entrance and exit. It is always guarded by twin priestesses, each warning those entering that violence within the walls of the Temple is absolutely forbidden and that should they seek refuge, they would be given it. No one is turned away. Past the Gates of the Temple is the threshold. An ornate arch over the large double doors lead to a vast room with various different alters. To the sides, stairways wind to the higher floors, balconies that overshadow the gardens at the back of the Temple.

The city outside the Temple is always bustling. Like Cepheus, it is busy during the day. Markets and stalls are open; jewelry shops, bakeries, and other businesses greet customers warmly, exchanging news and rumors. During the night, it is all but silence. Music and dancing fill the streets until the hours is late and the Celestians retire for the night. Priestesses are often seen moving from marketplace to the Temple, helping the people. The Temple is also where the majority of weddings take place. The protection cloak allows the weddings to take place in peace with no threat of harm on anyone participating in the wedding.
