QUICK HISTORY

Irongate's First Ruler was a man named Graltan Celtria. Long ago he was the Lord Mayor of the town called Eyanthor. He was quite rich from several inheritances, and used all the money had in building great walls around the city. Large iron plates were placed in the stone walls to make extra protection. Then heated iron was poured between the stones of the walls for an extra strong defense. People flocked to the city that was soon renamed Irongate, and the city prospered due to the fact that people didnt have to worry about raiding orcs or the threat of the Ixlaxians that lived within and around the city. Several hundred years passed and soon the city of Irongate was thriving easily. The Goblins, and Orcs of the land did not enjoy the fact that the humans were thriving in a defended position.

Wave after wave of orcs came down upon the city and the forces lead by Graltan Celtria the 6th pushed back every orcish attack and with minimum Casualties. Graltan Celtria the 6th was soon renamed The High Protector of Irongate and the new hierarchy began. The king was now called The High Protector. Barons, and Lords like that are reffered to as Protectors, and Knights are commonly reffered to as Defenders. Soon after The High Protector set out counterattacks and with another hundred years the progressing High Protector cleared the lands of Righchaeon, and soon smaller cities sprouted up. Clearing the lands from trouble required that the Ixlaxian threat be removed from the area. The Ixlaxians were forced back onto the eastern island in the Necros mountains. During this time the Black Dragon Syndicate was a small secret organization that has thier own agenda with the area. Unfortunately for them a hero named Dartonious Decantary foiled thier plans along with his friend John Cragon, and Lucen Tal. The Syndicate decided to build slowly on the north island where The forces of Irongate hadnt touched yet. Soon they would make the small kingdom of Rogueton where Pirates and bandits were accepted. Most people exhiled are sent to this small kingdom where they can still be free.

Years later when all three kingdoms had been established, Ixlaxia and Rogueton had made an alliance. During this period a Mointain Dwarf coming from the Devilspine mnts created The Runeforge. Harte Strongholm created the forge and the 8 Elemental Runeswords were created soon after. Runes were placed on weapons, armor, and other Various items. The Havenae Sanctuary was created when Father of the Angels descended upon Righchaeon he created a sword of extreme power matching only that of the Sword the Runeshade Baldron carries. When the forces of Irongate pushed the orcs away the Orcs were confined into The Devil Spine mountains where Galgrash the conquerer was said to be buried. Galgrash being the leader of the orcish forces keeping the human population down until that point. He was assasinated by a man named Jayde before he could organize all the orc and goblin tribes. Jayde had then gone north to an Grey Elf City Called "Ghaelstone". The City was the greatest city on the map of Righchaeon at the time but was soon destroyed by the force of power known as Jazchaka, Jayde's Demon side. Jayde later decided that he must atone for what he had done in the Elven city and so he decided to bring life back to the place once again. Nature was brought back to the Ruins and he lived in and the life had been returned to the ruins.

The Ixlaxians when retreated to Death Mountain needed to form a defense for themselves. So they created a large fortress made of obsidian, and black stones pulled from around Death Mountain. On the side of the great volcano was built the Citadel of the Unlife and soon the further north the city of Ixlaxia was built in homage to the great goddess Ixlaxia. As the land is hardly used for grazing or crops, the land could be very fruitful to those who would wish to take it. Though taking it would seem harder than originally thought. Wraiths, Wights and other creatures of the dead walk the landscape at night looking for living to destroy. Even the living citizens of Ixlaxia must be weary of these night creatures as theyre only existing reason is to destroy and hate. The Curfew in Ixlaxia is set to sundown as that is when the nights creatures destroy those out walking. Within the cities are safe places as the wraiths will not come close as they are warded against uncontrolled Undead forces. Cities and Kingdoms

TAXES:

Warring Tax- Any adventurers or travellers going through the city of Irongate must pay a minimum of two gold pieces or must give up all swords or weapons. Mages travelling through must pay 5 gold pieces or have a ring placed upon them that is not removable and will cut all magic abilities from use. Cargo Tax- 0.6% any imports coming into town must pay a 1% tax. Precious Mineral Tax- 1% for any imported gems, gold, silver or other precious minerals coming into or out of the city.
