The Otherworld is a proud part of the Mystical Realms gaming community.

The Otherworld is a realm like no other. It lies separate from all other realms, yet is inextricably linked to them all. Some would call the Otherworld a separate dimension, but that is not wholly accurate. The Otherworld exists simultaneously within the same space as what we would call the physical plane.

People often cross into the Otherword unawares, as the entry points are constantly changing. While some of the more permanent portals, such as stone gates, fairy circles, and cavern entrances are well-known, the ephemeral nature of the Otherworld allows passage in other ways. Crossing through fog, across a body of water, or through an old-growth forest under a new moon have all been known to deposit travellers in the Otherworld, far from the place they thought they were travelling. While the various aspects of the Otherworld are in constant flux, there is nevertheless a timeless quality to the realm as a whole.
